If the U.S Government and especially the branches the Armed Services and Dept. of Interior don’t know about Bigfoot as a living breathing and healthy race of beings living in the wilds of American forests I will eat my hat ! There have been so many documented sightings around Army bases in the U.S A it’s not funny. I also believe that The Dept of Interior along with Fish & Game are covering up evidence from the public. This is my opinion only from reading hundreds of witness reports and books on Bigfoot in America.
I normally do not respond to these types of posts. I just guess I am in a weird mood (hahaha). Let me try and give you my 2 cents. Since I have 16 years federal service and 11 of those were which spent as a federal law enforcement officer, that also had federal emergency management duites. During those years I worked with other 3 letter agencies on multiple projects. Nothing X-files about it, I am just not wanting to do their dirty laundry in public if you know what I mean.
Well I can fully say as a participant and witness to many projects that the US Government does is what they call the best interest to the public citizens of the US. Some theories are that if the mass public knows, there will be certain after shocks that maybecome viral. For example, remember what happened just before the end of 1999 and the start of 2000. Grocery stores went empty, huge/mass purchase of gas masks, people “duck” taping their homes secure, etc. There is also other reasons, just my opinion that there is certain cultural/religious aspects to this particular topic. We are a very religous driven country, and some do not like the idea of our Okla Chito (Bigfoot) may come or be a part of something that has biblical history. You do know that the descriptions of beings such as the Okla Chito are described in the Bible? I wouldn’t say that the US Gov is keeping it from the public just because “X-Files” made it sound so dramatic (I am also not defending the US Gov either) I am just giving my observations from first hand knowledge of some things they do. The threat of public safety is a huge agenda and I believe just because the law makers and other politicians do not understand something or fear it, it must be a threat. Just saying
I understand the feds doing things to protect us from foreign & internal threats but to protect us from knowledge is treating us like children. There may be panic or frightened people from the truth but we are the land of the free and to keep vital information on something this important means they are afraid of that freedom and that means we truly aren’t free after all.

Can you elaborate a bit on this line? I am an intern working on a project at St Jennifer’s Bible Academy. Our project called The Different Cultures and The End Times. I am studying cultural, spiritual and ideological differences pertaining to the end times. I have been looking for something on the topic of the hairy giants and end times. You are right, there are biblical references to creatures such as these.
I do not disagree with you. Like I said, I am “former federal law enforcement” and have seen both sides of the fence. History has proven that when people are given power over others such as the government, they think they know what is best for it’s people. Being open with people is always best, but some do not accept that, so in my opinion there will always be secrets.
I had heard over the years, that in 1 of the service branches manuels on survival in the wilderness they actually show a picture of a Sasquatch . In fact there were threads on the topic in the old Bigfoot Forums

Yes, I have also heard from two servicemen that the topic of sasquatch is brought up in a survival manual of the military. Also, did you know that a number of fire stations out east have a manual on what to do in case of a UFO landing, complete with step-by-step instructions for firefighters and civilians to follow? Now if the government and military are both denying the existence of UFO’s and extraterrestrials, then why are they printing step-by-step manuals for people to follow? The “just in case” arguement just doesn’t rise up from the water here.
Have you ever asked yourself WHY so many bigfoot and UFO reported sightings occur near military bases? Is this just “coincidence” or is there coordinated testing of some kind going on here? To believe it is just “coincidence” seems awfully naive to me. Does the government know more about bigfoot than it is letting on? I personally believe the government knows more about practically everything than we will ever know. And that thought is scary!
